This is one of the first places where nudism started in the Andalusian coast, a benchmark for a natural beach, safe from mass tourism and residential developments. It is located in a wonderful bay on the west side of Tarifa. It is included in the El Estrecho (The Strait) Natural Park, surrounded by countryside, pine forests, dunes and rocky cliffs. Several creeks flow into the ocean there.
Although it is possible to find nudists in the main section, nudism is most tradtional and usual in the southestern end, where a rocky outcrop gives way to two large coves. The ratio nudists/textiles is 70/30.
Another important attraction is the archaelogical complex formed by the remains of the roman city of Baelo Claudio, founded in the second century B.C.
