How to get there
Just a few kilometers north of Carboneras, you have to follow the road along the coast to Mojacar. From this last town, you pass an spectacular secction where the road twists and goeas up and down through the edge of the cliffs.
The last part is an only partially paved road to the parking lots on two ends of the beach.

The beach
A mixture of grey and redish sand with small pebbles, more than a kilometer of straight shore. Ideal to walk, but not to sunbathe. Being so open it is exposed to the wind, which can sometimes be upsetting.
Apart from the hotel, the only building you can see are a couple of littel houses (maybe unhabitted), and furhter on, the road. Yo may even be the only one on the beach.

Facilities
Waiting for the fate of the hotel (hopefully, it will be knock down), nothing else in this beach.
Nudism
This is one of the beaches in Cabo de Gata were nudism is reported as frequent. In fact, it is what you would expect on a lonely beach like this, but surprisingly most people were wearing swimsuit, even without anybody close to them.
I like:
- A beach just besides the road (probably, the best accessible in the area), but virtually empty
- The strange sand color, fading from red to grey .
I don't like:
- The hotel, still standing
- The wind
